History : Mediation And Community Support started in and has grown from a from a small, locally focused volunteer group into an incorporated Company Limited by Guarantee with Registered Charity Status providing a broad range of mediation services and training across Warwickshire. Volunteers are recruited from across the county and are trained in mediation skills and supported in their work on cases in their local communities.
Working relationships have been formed with other statutory and voluntary agencies ensuring appropriate and timely referrals to MACS and constructive collaboration on issues of joint interest. If you are interested in our Volunteering Oppotunities please follow the link. Our service is strongly supported by our team of trained volunteer mediators who provide a professional service to the community. Mediation and Community Support.
We are grateful to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Orbit Housing Stratford-on-Avon and individual donors for their support and for their contributions and commitment to making mediation available as widely as possible. Croydon Community Mediation CCM is a community-based, voluntary charity that has been helping people in Croydon for over 15 years. We are still funded by Croydon Council.
Everyone else is a volunteer, be they mediators, Board members or helpers in the office. Our mediators are highly trained and are very good at what they do: CCM is very well-regarded in the community. Oversight of the charity is by a Board of Trustees, some of whom are also volunteer mediators. They meet every two months.
